Beyond the weekly programme.
The wider initiatives we run alongside our core classes — full detail is in the Impact Report.
Lives Not Knives
Anti-knife-crime initiative, launched 2023. Leicester recorded 869 knife-related serious crimes in 2019 alone, including 5 killings and 13 attempted murders — this exists because of that.
Drugs & Alcohol Prevention
Run with Spinney Hill Drugs & Addiction. 27% of UK adults report alcohol misuse — sessions pair boxing and MMA training with support groups and education.
Mentorship
One-to-one mentoring for young people who visit the academy or are signposted to us, handled confidentially by our own staff.
Ramadan Projects
Community initiatives run during Ramadan each year.
LMA Hikers
Hiking trips for young people. Most recently Mount Snowdon, in weather that left everyone soaked.
Neurodiversity Support
Delivered in partnership with local neurodiversity services.
Community Outreach
Stalls and demonstrations at fairs and festivals across Leicester, including the One Nation Park Event.
Charity Deployments
Door-to-door collections with One Nation, plus youth volunteer deployments to Malawi and Zambia.
